Elba Celeste Delisle

Elba Celeste Delisle, 88, of Petersburg, VA, widow of Leo Alexander Delisle, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Salvador and Maria Arroyo Collazo. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ivan Collazo and two sisters, Julie Rodriguez and Nereida Stumpp. Mrs. Delisle was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and loved gardening. She is survived by her sons, Glenn Delisle and Vance Delisle and wife, Colleen; grandchildren, Asher and Quinn Delisle; sisters, Griselda Kelin and Ruth Collazo, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home followed visitation with the family until 7:00 p.m. A graveside funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Cemetery in Petersburg with Father Brian Capuano, Celebrant.
