Eleanor Belcher

Eleanor Rose Belcher, age 86, of Richmond, VA, died on Monday, March 10, 2008. Born in Kecoughatan, VA, she was the daughter of the late Timothy R. and Yula Starvell Bryant. Eleanor was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband John W. Belcher. Eleanor is survived by her son, Robert Powell Belcher and wife Judith, of Caroline County, VA; daughter, Mary B. Vaughan and husband Douglas, of Chesterfield, VA; six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held there on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 10 a.m., with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park.
