Eleanor Cozzens

Eleanor Fordham Cozzens went to be with her Lord on April 9, 2005. She was born on March 24, 1924 and was the beloved wife of 60 years to John E. Cozzens. Eleanor will be forever remembered in our hearts as a wonderful wife, loving mother and devoted child of God. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernard V. Fordham and Belle Brough Fordham. Eleanor is survived by her devoted husband, John Cozzens; her son, John ?Bernie? Cozzens and his wife Nancy; her daughter, Donna C. Harrison; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Eleanor proudly served her county in the US Navy and is a veteran of World War II. She was a devoted Christian and member of Second Presbyterian church of Petersburg where she served as church secretary for 29 years. Please join us at 7 to 8:30 PM on Monday, April 11 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 12 at 10AM in Blandford Cemetery, a memorial service will be held later that day at Second Presbyterian Church at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Second Presbyterian Church Organ Fund.
