Eleanor Larocque

Eleanor Virginia Lewis LaRocque went to be with the Lord May 14, 2010 at Waverly Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 3, 1942, in Brunswick County, VA she was the daughter of the late Joseph Allen Lewis, Sr. and Agnes Virginia Daniels Lewis. Eleanor was a member of Community Baptist Church and Colonial Williamsburg Foundation Survivors include two sons, Thomas E. Joyner and James Allen Joyner and a daughter Lori Anne Joyner; three grandchildren, Isaac A. Vaughan, Brittany N. Joyner, and Joseph W. Joyner; three brothers, Robert Lewis and his wife Gilda, William Lewis, and Lawrence Lewis and his wife Debbie; two sisters, Emily Bryant and her husband Ashton, and Millie Wilson and her husband Billy. In addition to her husband Edward LaRocque, she was predeceased by four brothers, Joseph A. Lewis, Jr., Francis L. Lewis, Ernie T. Lewis, and Charles C. Lewis
A graveside funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Bethel Cemetery in Alberta, VA with the Rev. Gary Ross officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, May 17, 2010, 7:00 â?? 8:00 p.m. at Purviance Chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
