Elisabeth Appleby

Elisabeth â??Ilseâ? Margarette Krauss Appleby, 83, of Hopewell, died Saturday, May 15, 2010. Mrs. Appleby was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Willelmine Mennel Krauss and her husband, Edmund Eugene Appleby. She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church, Hopewell, and Crosspoint Lutheran Church, El Paso. TX. Survivors include two daughters, Dawn M. Lero of El Paso, TX and Karen M. Appleby of Beckley, WV; one granddaughter, Michelle A Byrge of Beckley, WV. The family will receive friends Friday, May 21, 2010, from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 22, 2010, at 11 a.m. in Nazareth Lutheran Church, Hopewell, with the Rev. David Voss, pastor, officiating .Graveside services will be in Arlington National Cemetery, June 22, 2010, at 1:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Koehler Scholarship Fund, Nazareth Lutheran Church, 1711 Grant Street, Hopewell, VA 23860.
