Elizabeth Lamb Atkins

Elizabeth Lamb “Libbie” Atkins, 72, of Chesterfield, VA passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Heath Patterson and Mary Hunter Lamb. She is survived by her husband, Edward Atkins; sister, Margaret Macon (George); brothers in law, Larry Atkins (Brenda), Gary Atkins, Bobbie Atkins, Bruce Atkins (Kathy); sister in law, Louise Atkins; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Libbie attended the College of William & Mary where she completed her graduate work in education administration. She retired after 35 years of service at Fort Lee. She enjoyed her many friends from work and bridge club. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at the Independent living community of Springdale at Lucy Corr in the Bistro 6653 Roundabout Way, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
