Elizabeth Jeanette Barlow

March 7, 1956 — November 25, 2014

Elizabeth Jeanette Barlow, 58, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Ambro Adam and Betty Jo Beckner Monroe. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and affectionately known as the neighborhood mom. Jeanette loved volunteering at her children’s and grandchildren’s school, and was also a member of Swift Creek Baptist. She is survived by her husband, Larry Barlow; four children, Chris Barlow and wife, Tawni Barlow, Jeremy Barlow and partner, Mindy Stewart, Ben Barlow and partner, Ashley Nicholas, and Sarah Barlow and husband, Michael Endsley; five grandchildren, Casey Odum, Patrick Barlow, Alyssa Barlow, Brayden Barlow and Vivian Whitney; four brothers, Jesse Sherman, Joe Sherman, Jerry Monroe and Gary Monroe; numerous nieces and nephews; and her beloved four-legged baby Tiki. Funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, December 1, 2014 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 2-4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
