Elizabeth Eanes Baskerville

Elizabeth Eanes "Libba" Baskerville, of McKenney departed this life Tuesday, March 22, 2016. She was born January 3, 1931, the daughter of the late Eleanor Little Eanes and Edward Ennis Eanes of Emporia. She was preceded in death by her husband Channing Feild Baskerville, Jr., her son Channing Feild Baskerville, III and her sister, Ida Eanes Patrick. She is survived by son Edward Eanes Baskerville and wife, Becky , of McKenney; daughter Jean Baskerville Alcott and husband, Ken, of Richmond; and daughter-in-law, Jill Baskerville of Chester; 8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Baskerville was a graduate of Westhampton College, an avid bridge player, a passionate ACC basketball fan and a devoted member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. The family will receive friends at her home on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Services will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd Friday, March 25 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 357, McKenney Virginia 23872.
