Elizabeth Edwards, 25, of Chester, VA passed away suddenly on May 9, 2017 at Chippenham Medical Center. Born in Pensacola, FL she was the daughter of the late Jeffrey Allen Edwards; and was also preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Raymond C. Cooper. Elizabeth had attended Thomas Dale High School and graduated in 2009 from the Home Educator’s Association of Virginia. She worked as a banker for Wells Fargo in Chesterfield County. Elizabeth was a fun loving, very sweet soul. She was a makeup artist from age 5 until she passed at 25 years of age. It was nothing for her to wear a whole tube of her mother’s lipstick all at one time. She loved her friends and family and they loved her. As of late, she leaves behind in the work area many, many friends at Wells Fargo and Victoria Secret. She wore professional attire during the day and most of the other times she would not be found without her PINK line on. She was a bright sunshine, a beautiful daughter, sister and friend and she will be sorely missed. Elizabeth is survived by her mother, Anita C. Cruz and husband, Ray; a sister, Abby Edwards; her maternal grandmother, Hilda M. Cooper; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Homes, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. The family will also receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the funeral home. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, with a graveside service following at 11:00 a.m. in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA with the Rev. Michael Craft, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to River of Love Community Church in memory of Elizabeth Edwards. Condolences may be registered at
