Elizabeth Rachel Fabian died unexpectedly on November 26, 2020. She was nicknamed Rocky, Ray Ray, Rae, and Fabian by friends and family. She was born in July of 1982 in Lumberton, North Carolina, and lived most of her life in Richmond, VA, where she attended L.C. Bird High School.
Rachel had many struggles in life, but she had a big heart and a great love for life. Always ready to help anyone with anything, she was a good friend with an infectious smile and laugh. Her love for family and friends knew no bounds, and she always put them ahead of herself. Rachel loved her dogs passionately. She was a strong supporter of those in addiction recovery. She loved the beach and the ocean. She had a wickedly funny sense of humor and could make anyone laugh.
She is survived by her mother Elizabeth Acord; father Robert Fabian; step-father Donnie Acord; grandmother June Haynes-Garrett; Uncles Tom Fabian, Eric Sack, and Chris Williamson, Aunt Sarah Fabian Sack; brothers Ben and Sam Fabian; cousins Jason and Brandon Williamson and their children Kameron, Kaylee, Audrey, and Cole; cousins Cole, Allison, and Katy Sack, and Elizabeth and Bobby Fabian; niece Keating Fabian, and nephews Gavin Fabian, Caleb Rosson, and Wyatt and Wesley Fabian. She is also survived by her beloved fur babies Maggie and Sasha. She was preceded in death by grandfathers Tommy Haynes and Craig Fabian, grandmother Mabel Yates, aunts Wanda Williamson and Donna Renfrow, and cousin Will Renfrow.
A drive-in funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 6, 2020 in the parking lot of the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. While in the parking lot, please visit
