Elizabeth Keely Hamilton

Elizabeth Keely Hamilton, 78, of Hopewell, passed away on Wednesday, September 04, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Carlisle Keely and Ocie Keely of Church View, VA.

Mrs. Hamilton worked in accounting and medical records while raising her three young children. She had a love for antiques and later in life owned a shop on Main St.

She is survived by: her children, James R. "Ron" Hamilton and his wife, Shannon, Mark A. Hamilton and his wife, Kimberly, Rhonda K. Hamilton; grandchildren, Beth, James, Timmy, Tony, Samantha, Summer; brothers, Carlisle Keely Jr., Fred Keely; sister, Lydia Kirkland; numerous nieces; nephews; and other extended family; and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, James M. Hamilton.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens with Pastor Justin Vaughn of Varina Baptist Church officiating.
