Elizabeth M. Royster

Elizabeth Nannie Martin Royster, 87, of Hopewell, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004 at her residence. She was born in Chester and had been a life long resident of this area. Mrs. Royster was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Lee and Nannie Elizabeth Eubank Martin. She is survived by her husband, John G. Royster, Sr., one daughter, Nancy Royster Johnson and her husband, Lidge, one son, John G. Royster, Jr. and his wife, Anne, 8 grandchildren, Angela J. Mitchell and her husband David, Derrick A. Johnson and his wife, Jackie, Christopher A. Johnson and his wife Beth, Eric T. Royster and his wife Jennifer, Laura Anne Moxley and her husband, Jeff, B. Scott Royster and his wife, Kelly, J. Shannon Royster and his wife Whitney, Kristin R. Smith and her husband, Adam, and 20 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, Ivey Martin and Nettie Martin and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, July 9, 2004 from 7:00 to 8:30PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 10, 2004 at 10:00AM in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Bishop Derrick Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
