Elizabeth Marek

Elizabeth Norwood Wiles Marek, 83, of Petersburg, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011. Born in Granville County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Willie James & Mary Louise Thomas Norwood. She was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond L. Wiles; her son, Dorsey L. Wiles; her granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Davis Langston; her second husband, John B. Marek; her sister, Docie Jones; and her brother, William Norwood. She is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Wiles Davis and husband, Russell Wayne Davis of Disputanta; brothers, Walter Norwood and Roy Norwood; and sister, Esther Skelton. A graveside funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6th at Southlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jim Burton officiating.
