Elizabeth Show Michalek

Elizabeth "Betsy" Show Michalek, 80, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. The daughter of the late John and Josephine Show, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Walter Show. Betsy was a graduate of Petersburg High School and then attended PanAm business school. During her employment, she worked with her husband as a partner and part owner of Southside Ford Tractor, Inc. Betsy was a lifetime member of Highland United Methodist Church and a member and past president of Ravenscoft Woman's Club. She also volunteered at Southside Regional Medical Center, where she served on the Twig Board. Betsy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Edward Michalek; brother, Donald Show; special nephew, Stephen Michalek, along with other numerous nieces and nephews, special cousin, Ruth-Ann Elliotte (David); and numerous other family members and friends. The family will receive friends at J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg, 103 S. Adams Street, on July 17, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at Highland United Methodist Church Address, 125 E. Westover Avenue, Colonial Heights, on July 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. The family would like to thank Petersburg Home for Ladies for their care, compassion, and tenderness towards Betsy.
