Elizabeth Mitchell

Elizabeth Forman Mitchell, 95, of Hanover died Saturday, November 12, 2011. She was a native of Petersburg born the daughter of the late Spencer and Lilla Perkins Smith. Mrs. Mitchell was the widow of Leslie O. Mitchell and was also preceded in death by her sister Helen Smith Garter. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters, Joan M. Tiller and her husband David; Karol S. Green; Faye Youngs and her husband David; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 16 at Blandford Cemetery. Flowers are welcome or contributions can be made in her memory to the charity of your choice.
