Elizabeth Robbins Molter

June 17, 1958 — December 31, 2015

Molter, Elizabeth Robbins, of Enon, passed into the presence of God, peacefully and surrounded by family on December 31, 2015, following a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born June 17, 1958 in Charlotte, N.C., she was preceded in death by her father, John Daniel Robbins, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Frederick Molter, III; her mother, Ann Bevan Robbins; her three loving children, Frederick, Ashley and Nicholas; A stepdaughter, Melissa (Ryan); Two step grandchildren, Gracie and Addison. She is also survived by her four siblings; John Daniel Robbins, III (Beth), Susan Bain Robbins Eliades (Elliot), Robert Douglas Robbins (Leigh) and Carol Lynn Robbins Crowder (Ed) and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She competed in Basketball and Softball at Thomas Dale High School and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1982. She went on to teach Kindergarten, First Grade and Fourth Grade at Enon Elementary School where she touched and nurtured so many young hearts and minds, which was one of the biggest joys in her life. She also spent many years as an elder and Session member at First Presbyterian Church, Enon Elementary PTA president, Committee Chairman of Boy Scout Troop 922, member of Wonder City Investment Club in Hopewell, Daughters of the American Revolution and VCU’s biggest Basketball fan. A memorial service, celebrating Beth’s life, will be held at 11a.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016, at First Presbyterian Church, 1107 West Broadway, Hopewell, VA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be made to First Presbyterian Church of Hopewell. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
