Elizabeth Neal

Elizabeth Roberts "Spunky" Neal, 79, passed away on Sunday May 29th, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Aaron Anderson Roberts, and was preceded in death by her fourth son, William Neal. Mrs. Roberts was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, and grew up in Chester, Virginia. She was a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, and was employed as a second grade teacher in Richmond. She was always concerned about those having a difficult time in life, and did what she could to help them. Much of her life was spent helping others who were less fortunate. She was a faithful Presbyterian doing, all she could to strengthen her service to the Church. She was a wonderful mother who loved her children very much. She is survived by three sons and their families: Richard and Susan Neal of Savannah, Georgia; Bruce and Linda Neal of Exton, Pennsylvania; and Peter Forest and Denise Neal of Taylors, South Carolina. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, June 2, 2011 in Blandford Cemetery.
