Elizabeth Lynn Talbott, 31, of Dinwiddie, passed away unexpectedly in her home, December 23, 2017. Elizabeth was a proud Auntie to her nephew and niece, Alex and Emma. Memories with their Auntie will forever be remembered and cherished. She loved devoting her time and attention to them even when her struggle was great. Elizabeth was often seen enjoying a sun set, observing nature, collecting butterflies and gazing at the moon. It was later we would learn of her passion and talent for photography. Elizabeth found beauty in all around her and never passed up an opportunity to help someone in need. Through her pain we watched her bring happiness to strangers. A compliment or casual conversation, words of encouragement and understanding, given even when she had nothing but a listening ear and kind words. She found joy in cooking for her family and was always eager to find new recipes. Elizabeth was a beautiful soul, we are thankful she is at peace and her struggles are over, but she will be dearly missed by all who loved her. Rest now our Pea Pie Pixie girl. You are always in our hearts. We will see you again in our Father's house. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her cousin, Lisa Gibson Hower; father, John Franklin Talbott; great aunt, Rachel Wall Jackson. Elizabeth is survived by her husband, John Edward Grogan; mother, Linda Mayer Talbott; sister, Sarah Camille Doughty and husband, Jacob, and their children, Alexander Rylan Doughty and Emmalyn Rose Doughty; grandparents, Robert Howe Mayer and Ruth Daniel Mayer; aunt, Joyce Mayer Shanfelter and husband, Karl and their children, Alice Faye Shanfelter and Ashley Marie Shanfelter; aunt, Janice Mayer Conrad and husband, Mike; aunt, Amanda Talbott Veilleux, and husband, Leon and their children, Michelle Ann Veilleux, Christine Veilleux Helstowski and husband, Bryan, and Joseph Edward Veilleux; cousins, Candice Marie Hower and Darren John Hower; and numerous cousins on her father's side.
