Ella Gregory

Ella Thomas Gregory, 83, a former resident of Burgess Road, Chester, died on Sunday, June 26, 2005, at Henrico Health Care Center. Mrs. Gregory was born in Lawrenceville, VA, and was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Otis A. and Ruth S. Thomas and her husband, Robert Maxey Gregory. She is survived by a daughter, Gwen G. Vincent of Varina, two sons, Robert H. Gregory of Enon and Lewis W. Gregory of Kitty Hawk, NC, seven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; four brothers, Otis Thomas of Myrtle Beach, Randolph Thomas of Fredericksburg, Marvin Thomas of Blackstone, and Donald Thomas of Lawrenceville, three sisters Lorene Clarke of Waynesboro, Mattie Bagley of Richmond, and Anne Arrington of Lawrenceville.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 28, 2005 from 7 -8:30 p.m. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2005 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with The Rev. Ed Bellis, Pastor of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Presbyterian Church, 1201 Blackstone Avenue, Hopewell, VA, 23860.
