Ellen Jeanette Leblanc

September 27, 1938 — May 2, 2013

Ellen Jeanette LeBlanc, 74, of McKenney, went to be with the lord on Thursday, May 2, 2013. Born in Dickenson, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Thompson and Mona Humphries. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Thompson and Mildred Dickenson. Mrs. LeBlanc was a proud member of Mount Olivet United Methodist Church. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard LeBlanc; son, Glen LeBlanc and his wife, Kelly; daughter, Dianne Nowlin and her husband, Skip; three grandchildren, Mercy LeBlanc, Isaiah LeBlanc, Nick Nowlin and his wife, Lauren; great-granddaughter, Palmer; two sisters, Peggy Johnson, and Geraldine Nidiffer and her husband, Allen; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, May 5, 2013 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be donated to the American Lung Association of Virginia, 9702 Gayton Rd., #110 Richmond VA 23238. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com
