Ellen Futch Rusnak

Ellen Futch Rusnak, 74, of Disputanta, went to be with her Lord Thursday, July 7, 2016. She grew up in Burgaw, NC and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree. Afterwards, she married her college sweetheart, Philip Rusnak, Jr. and moved to Prince George, VA. She taught for 36 years in the Prince George County school system, touching many lives. Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Elizabeth Futch; and her husband of 44 years Walter Philip Rusnak, Jr. She is survived by her two children, Stephanie Rusnak Hudson and Stephen Rusnak; three granddaughters, Caitlin Rusnak, Maria Hudson and Michelle Hudson; siblings, Judy Futch, Kenneth Futch and Libby Rooks; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 8 at J.T. Morriss and Son – Hopewell Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00pm. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. in Gregory Memorial Presbyterian Church, Prince George, with Rev. Pat Elder, officiating.
