Elma Mason

Elma Dean Bryant Mason, 79, of Ivor passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Shepard Bailey Bryant and Roseanna Crocker Bryant and the wife of the late Edward Allen Mason, Sr. Elma was a member of Ivor Baptist Church. She loved to sing and her home was always open to everyone.
Mrs. Mason is survived by her daughter, Teresa Mason Bracey and husband, Donald of Ivor; sons, Edward Allen Mason, Jr. and wife, Janie of Ivor, and Douglas Wayne Mason and wife, Judi of Houston, Texas; grandchildren, Megan Bracey, Ricky Bracey, Micky Bracey, Crystal Mason, Edward A. Mason, III, Stephen Mason, Sam Mason, and Jack Mason; great grandchildren, Nathan Mason, Kaleigha Mason, Eli Mason, Caleb Mason, and Jett Mason; brother, Shepard Bailey Bryant, Jr. and wife, Maline of Suffolk and sisters, Eloise Atkins and husband, Jack of Ivor and Ann Bryant Feagans of Hampton.
The family will receive friends at the Wakefield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 6 to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2011 at the funeral home with Rev. Steve Gupton officiating. Burial will follow at Ivor Cemetery.
