Elmer Daniel

Elmer George Daniel, 69, of Hopewell, VA died Thursday, May 14, 2009 in John Randolph Medical Center. He was a retired parts sales manager for Auto Zone. Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, George and Helen Marie Daniel, a daughter, Lori Ann Daniel and a brother, Robert J. Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Mary Glover Daniel, a son, Franklin Lee Daniel, both of Hopewell, VA, two grandchildren, Lori Daniel Ragsdale and her husband Steve of Hanover, VA, Monica Edwards Slaughter, three great grandchildren, Haley and Melanie Slaughter, and Seth Ragsdale, sisters, Helen D. May and her husband Larry May Sr., Betty D. Lucy and her husband Pete, all of Prince George, VA, a brother, Henry Daniel and his wife Gail of Hopewell, VA and a sister-in-law, Carolyn Daniel of Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 18, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chesterfield County, with the Rev.
