Elmer L. Elchuck, 82, of Chester, entered into eternal rest Friday April 15, 2005. He was a veteran of World War II, landed on Normandy Beach on D Day, Battle of the Bulge and Central Europe. He is survived by his wife Elisa Elchuck, Chester, Va.; son, Sgt Louis Elchuck (Isabel) of Kansas who is stationed in Kosovo, daughters, Darlene Rudnick (Ralph) Chester, and Stephanie Lagasse (Greg) of Arkansas; Grandchildren Kevin, Christopher and Kyle Rudnick of Chester; Barbara, Reid and Reagan Lagasse of Arkansas; Alexander Elchuck, Kansas and Uncle George Prehatin (Josephine) of Pennsylvania. Mr. Elchuck lived most of his life in Hunterdon Co, N. J. where he was a Councilman in Lebanon Borough, N.J for thirteen years. Services will be conducted Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 10:00 am in the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service Chesterfield Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park., Chester; Va. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 20th from 2:00 -4:00 pm and 7:00 -8:30 pm at the funeral home. The family has requested no flowers suggesting contributions may be made to Crater Community Hospice or Kingsland Baptist Church. Condolences can be registered
