Elmer Earl "Pop" Elder

Elmer Earl “Pop” Elder, 74, of Chesterfield, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2013. He was a Veteran of the National Guard. Mr. Elder was the child of the late, Chief Elder and Ruby Campbell Elder. He is also preceded by a granddaughter, Chelsea Lynn Elder. Mr. Elder is survived by his children, Penny Williams (Herbie), Teresa “Terry” Sutherland (Terry), Elmer “Bubba” Elder (Tammey), and Anthony “Andy” Elder (Stacey); step-daughter, Cathy Norcutt (Dave); grandchildren, Richard, Adam (Mary Jo), Ryan, Caitlyn, Casey (Megan), Stephany (Trevor), Trey, and Rebecca; four great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Elder; sisters, Patricia Radcliffe, and Jean Southall (Dickey); special friends, Denise and Kerry and many more extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 with a time of visitation to follow the service at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
