Elnora Marie Bowles

Elnora Marie Bowles, 78, of N. Prince George, VA went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 1, 2021. Born and raised in Adrian, WV. She was the daughter of the late Raymond “Coke” Oren Reed and Josephine Smith Reed and was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence “Slim” Owen Bowles; brother, Robert Oren Reed; daughter, Ann Znidarsic; and great granddaughter, Cadence Elizabeth Konitzer. She had a strong faith in God and enjoyed watching Jimmy Swaggart on SBN along with Frances & Friends and Classic Crusades. Elnora was a housewife, homemaker and looked forward to going out to the movies with her husband, family cookouts, get togethers by the backyard pool, and most of all giving a helping hand in raising her grandchildren. She absolutely adored Elvis Presley’s gospel songs and especially his love for his mother. She was a member of the Oaklawn Bowling league in Hopewell for over ten years. She is survived by her sister, Mary Hyre and husband Frank of WV; brother, Ronald Reed and wife Debbie of OH; and daughters, Lorna Darlene Amos of Prince George, Tina Nadene Tanner of Chesterfield and Kathleen Jonel Bowles of Prince George; grandchildren, Charlotte Konitzer and husband Neil of Williamsburg, Rachel McCoy of Prince George, Rebekah Amos of Prince George; eight great grandchildren Hannah, Ashley, Stevie, Whitney, Owen, Dylan, Case, and Molly; four great step-grandsons, Timothy, Ian, Cameron and Matthew; and one great great step-grandson Myles.
