Elsie Lucille Bushman

Elsie L. Bushman, 89, 5209 Sterling Rd, North Dinwiddie, Va., passed away on to a greater calling Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021, at Southside Medical Center, Petersburg, Va. Born in Brunswick County, Va on December 11, 1931 and became a native of Dinwiddie for 68 years. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix J Bushman Jr.; father and mother, Charles and Polly Jones; three brothers, Lawrence, Bobby, and Howard; one sister, Alease. Elsie is survived by sons, Louis E Tucker (Connie) and Felix J. Bushman III (Missy); daughters, Linda Wilcox (David) and Kay B. Reekes; one sister, Ola Mae Walker; 13 grandkids; 34 great grandkids; 10 great-great grandkids and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday August 18, 2021 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J. T. Morriss funeral home with Rev. Rodney Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends 1-hour prior from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Heart Association.
