Elsie Frye

Elsie Gleason Frye, 86, of Hopewell, died Monday, March 14, 2005 at her residence. She was born in King William County, Virginia. She was a member of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Frye was preceded in death by her parents, John Glover and Isa Cooke Gleason and her husband, Eskrine L. Frye. Mrs. Frye is survived by her daughter Sharyn Frye Mawyer of China Grove, NC, a brother, Richard Earl Gleason of Chester, Va. and several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 17, 2005 at 2:00PM in Appomattox Cemetery, with Rev. Edward Bellis, pastor of Woodlawn Presbyterian Church officiating.
