Elsie Mills

Elsie Whirley Mills, 74, of Chesterfield County, widow of Bobby Eugene Mills, passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at her residence. Born in Ettrick, she was the daughter of the late Roy Lee and Annie Bennett Whirley. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Cothron and husband, Allen of Matoaca, Tammy Mills of Chester, and Kathrine Swenk of Prince George; son, Rodney Mills of Dinwiddie; sister, Mildred Keaton also of Dinwiddie; brother, Roy Lee Whirley, Jr.; aunt, Doris Tudor of Matoaca; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 10th at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Rev. Guy Murdock officiating.
