Elsie Quate

Elsie Clark Quate, age 99, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Francis R. Quate. Mrs. Quate is survived by four daughters, Marlene Wheelhouse (Carl), Beverley Spivey, Linda Simms (Ronnie), and Trudy Samuels (Junie); a daughter in love, JoEllen Wheelhouse and her daughter, Jody Reed (Shawn); three grandsons, Ricky Simms, Seth Spivey, and Micky Simms; two great granddaughters, Kali Por and Amber Simms; and several Canadian nephews and nieces. She was a member of Kingsland Baptist Church for over 50 years. Her family will receive friends at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 14, at 11:30 a.m. in the Kingsland Baptist Church, 8801 Perrymont Rd., Richmond.
