Elsie Veazey

Elsie Moody Veazey, 83, of Dinwiddie County, widow of Charles Edward Veazey, Sr., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 20, 2006. Born in Prince George County, she was the daughter of the late O. C. Moody and Lettie Hall Moody. Mrs. Veazey is survived by her sons, Charles E. Veazey, Jr. and wife, Faye of Dinwiddie and P. Keith Veazey and wife, Sharon of Carson; daughter, Cornelia Reinert and husband, Ronnie of Midlothian; sister, Marie Shelton of Colonial Heights; brother, W. A. Moody of Prince George; nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Sunday, September 24, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Southlawn Memorial Park.
