Emanuel Binkley, Jr., 84 died at his residence 13400 Monks Neck Road, Petersburg on Sunday, October 24, 2004. He was born September 22, 1920 in Clarksville, TN the son of the late Emanuel and Ella Davenport Binkley. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army and formerly of Romulus, MI where he was a retired Cab driver for Detroit Metro Airport. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Bea Haley Williams Binkley of Brighton, MI and Jessie Ilene Binkley of Romulus, MI; his brother, Randolph Binkley; his daughters, Penelope Binkley Brake and Wanda Jones all of Clarksville, TN. He is survived by three brothers and three sisters, Charles W. Binkley, Ralph Binkley (Eudine), Richard H. Binkley (JoAnn), Mildred K. Richmond, Billie J. Combs (Ed), Eleanor L. Migliaccio (Pat) all of Clarksville, TN. four sons, Charles R. Binkley (Cathy), NC, Paul Binkley, IN, James E. Binkley (Joyce), IL and Roy W. Laster (Patty), MD; five daughters, Barbara B. Taylor (Burnell), VA, Patricia Schillag, MI, Sue D. Miller (Joe), TN, Deborah Binkley, IN, Lynda Williams (Wendell), TN; 35 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. His body will rest at the family residence. Friends are welcome as walk-ins after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday. Graveside services will be in the Taylor family plot at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church on Rt. 40 at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 27. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
