Emily Brown

Emily Parham Brown, 94, of Dinwiddie, passed away Monday, February 28, 2011. She was a native of Mecklenburg County and the daughter of the late James W. Parham, Jr. and Eva Rebecca Reekes. She was the widow of T. Woodrow Brown. She was a member of Crawford United Church. She is survived by one sister Edna P. Brown of Dinwiddie; five nieces, Becky Lewis, Charlotte Wall, Patricia Elder, Lois Tatum and Becky Pearce; two nephews, Doug Brown and Herbert Ridout. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, March 3, 2011 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Crawford United Methodist Church, 20816 Carson Road, Dinwiddie, VA 23841.
