Emma Jean Sechrest

Emma Jean Sechrest, 82, of Prince George, VA passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Born in Bristol, VA she was the daughter of the late Carl Eller and Sarah Littleford Eades; and was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Ashley Paige Daniels. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Gerald “Jerry” Sechrest; three daughters, Sharon Golden and husband, Bob, Kim Fleming and husband, Roy and Dawn Jordan and husband, Tommy; a son, Scott Sechrest; six grandchildren, Justin, Jeannie, Lindsey, Chelsie, Kallie and Kortney; a great-granddaughter on the way, due in May 2018; a sister, Cartha Smith; and dear friend, Jean Whitlock. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Bethlehem Congregational Church Cemetery, Prince George, VA. The family is being served by Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Mrs. Sechrest.
