Emmett Bresko

Emmett Bresko, 85, of Mechanicsville, Virginia passed away Sunday, July 6, 2008. He was a World War II veteran and a Systems Technician for C& P Telephone for 37 years. He was a native of Prince George County and a longtime resident of Dinwiddie County, son of the late George Bresko and Annie Rybar Bresko. Emmett was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Anne Katherine Bresko. He was a member of the Kenwood Methodist Church. He is survived by his daughters, Roxanne Potosky and husband, Lee Melvin, Cynthia Blair and husband, Bill; sons, Emmett D. Bresko and wife, Donna and Michael Bresko. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two sisters, Lydia B. White and Ruth Hacklemann. Graveside services will be conducted 10:00 am Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park.
