Endia Allen Spagnoulo, 81, of Dinwiddie County, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 surrounded by her family. Born in Snow Hill, NC, she was the daughter of the late William and Vicie Hinchey. She was also preceded in death by a son, Billy Allen Batten, a daughter, Patricia Ann Batten, a grandson, Billy Batten, Jr., and a great-great-granddaughter, Jaylyn Elizabeth Tyler. Ms. Spagnoulo retired from Seward Luggage Company after more than 40 years of service. She loved to dance and had a heart of gold, but would not hesitate to speak her mind when necessary. She will be loved and missed very much by her family and friends. She is survived by her children, Barbara J. Hinchey, Earl Ray Batten, Jr., and Perry Edward Batten; grandchildren, Patricia Elizabeth Hinchey, Endia Geneva Hinchey, Shawn Edward Hinchey, Stephen Ray Batten, Jeffrey Michael Batten, Bruce Price, Jr., Mary Ruth Price, Amber Batten, Nicole Effner, and Angie Batten; great-grandchildren, Sheena, Brittany, Brandon, Patience, Stephen, Lizzie, Chris, Ashley, and Ryan, and several great-great-grandchildren.
