Erich Wehren

Erich â??Shortyâ? Wehren, 94, of Chesterfield departed to be with our Lord on Friday June 4, 2010 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. â??Shortyâ? was born in Magdeburg,Germany the son of the late Alfred Wehren, Sr and Friederike Bremer Wehren. He was a veteran of the U S Army serving in World War II in the Asiatic Pacific Theater during the New Guinea Campaign in the Quartermaster Corps. He was employed by Allied Chemical Fibers Division as a millwright for 30 years. â??Shortyâ? is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 67 years Dorothy Hines Wehren, five daughters, Marci and husband Dave Hutson, Virginia and husband Sam Smelley, Donna and husband Steve Keppen, Patsy and husband Vince Whittaker, Paige and husband David Hershey and son Fred and wife Darlene Wehren, 19 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Sunday, June 6, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will follow on Monday, June 7, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chester Chapel of J. T.
