Erma Elmore

Erma Lee Elmore, 80, of Petersburg, widow of Frederick Welford Elmore, passed away Monday, December 21, 2009. Born in Logan County, WVA, she was preceded in death by her parents, Zac Adkins and Elsie Booth Temple and a sister, Betty J. Cox. She was the former owner of Peteâ??s Barbecue in Petersburg. Mrs. Elmore is survived by her son, Robert D. Elmore; sister, Laddona Davis; nephews, C. David Cox, Jerry Lee Cox, and Harold L. Davis, Jr.; nieces, Carolyn J. Kelly, Charlene Cox, Diane Robinette, Pamela Davis, and Carol Davis; great-nephews, George E. Wallace, Jerald L. Cox, Stephen L. Cox, and Brandon L. Cox; great-nieces, Melissa C. Wallace, Pamela D. Kelly, Amanda M. Cox, Cindy Cox and Angela Cox. Special thanks to her caregivers in her final stages go to Cheryl B. Weathers and James T. Micklem.
