Ernest Iii Pannill

Ernest â??Peteâ? Linwood Pannill, III, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Petersburg the son of the late Ernest L. and Lucy W. Pannill. Pete was a member of First Baptist Church in Petersburg. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Delores L. Pannill; two sons J. Michael Pannill and wife Karen, Phillip W. Pannill and wife Sissy; one daughter Tammy P. Vaughan and husband Wayne; five grandchildren Jesse and Chad Vaughan and Brent, Abbi and Ty Pannill; and one brother James E. Pannill and wife Anne. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Monday, July 30th at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with interment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Crater Community Hospice, 840 W.
