Ernestine Pritchett Parker

Ernestine Pritchett Parker, 93, of Prince George, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021. Born in Lawrenceville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Luther Pritchett and Mabel Gibbs Pritchett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James Wilfred Parker; grandson, Michael Griffin; and siblings, Ryland Pritchett, Ophelia Moore, and Goldie Matthews.
Ernestine Parker started her career at the Sussex County Sherriff Office. She went on to work as a Deputy Clerk for Sussex County General District Court, retiring after many years. She is loved and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, children, James Wilfred Parker, Jr., Rebecca Parker Griffin, Peggy Parker Pratt (Mike), and Kathryn Parker Beale (David); grandchildren, Jennifer Knecht (Billy), Ryan Beale, Blair Cole (Brandon), and Sydney Pratt; great-grandchildren, Shelby, Maggie, Avery Ruth, M.K., Parker, Grayson, and Nolan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Trinity UMC, 10021 County Dr., Disputanta, VA 23842. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Trinity UMC. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
