Esther Defibaught Jones

Esther Defibaugh Jones, 78, of Prince George, VA went peacefully to heaven, Monday, September 25, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Defibaugh, Sr. and Margaret Ellen Hylton Defibaugh; and a brother, Robert Lee Defibaugh, Jr. She is survived by her loving daughters, Margot Bass and husband, Stan, and Celeste Johnson; grandchildren, Timothy Johnson, Jr., Peter Bass, Elisabeth Bass, Zoe Johnson, Katie Bass, and Emily Bass; one great grand dog, Dexter Johnson; her brothers, William Defibaugh, Jerry Defibaugh, and Richard Defibaugh and wife, Sharon; her sisters, Ruby Whanger, and Glenna Sams; a sister-in-law, Velma Defibaugh; as well as, numerous extended family and friends. Esther loved reading, quilting, sewing, crocheting and cooking. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Calvary Chapel, 3625 Latimer’s Knoll Ct, Fredricksburg, VA 22408. J.T.
