Ethel Aldridge Emory

Ethel Aldridge Emory, 90, of Dinwiddie County, widow of Preston D. Emory, Sr., died Wednesday, October 12, 2016. Born in Petersburg, she was the daughter of the late Walter Edmund and Sallie Wall Aldridge. She was a retired employee of Seward Luggage Company and a longtime member of Ocran United Methodist Church. Mrs. Emory is survived by a son, Preston D. Emory, Jr.; daughter, Donna E. Wells; grandchildren, Constance O. Wells, James R. Wells, Jessica E. Ginn, and Marcus D. Emory; great-grandchildren, Dixie A. Smith and Jacob P. Emory. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Larry House officiating.
