Ethel Peters Leath, 89, of Dinwiddie, widow of Milton Edmond Leath, died Thursday, September 20, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Frank Edward and Dahlia Lillian Wheelhouse Peters. She was preceded in death by three sisters Margaret Jackson, Marie Clary and Irene Henshaw. Ethel was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Frances Louise Nuehring of Chester; son, Thomas Wilson Leath; three grandchildren, Catherine “Cathy” Mason of Yanceyville, NC, Janet A. Priddy of Powhatan and Kenneth Thomas Leath of Dinwiddie; numerous great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 4:00 PM Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Blandford Cemetery with a visitation one hour prior at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
