Ethel Phillips Selden, 85, of Dinwiddie, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 14, 2010. She was the daughter of the late James Wesley and Sallie Mayton Phillips and the widow of Howard R. Selden. Ethel was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Co. and a dedicated member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lois Wray and husband, Jesse; son, Donald R. Selden and wife, Dolores; grandchildren, Jessica B. Wray, Joyce Selden Price and husband, Jerry H. Price, Jr., and Steven Ray Selden and wife, Amanda; great-grandchildren, Kayla M. Selden, Jerry H. Price, III, Harley S. Price, Steven R. Selden, Jr. and Mariah N. Selden; sister, Blanche Phillips Bradley; other living family members. Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 19, 2010 at Southlawn Memorial Park.
