Ethel Sumners

Ethel Gertrude Norwood Hughes Sumners, 90 passed away Monday, October 31, 2005 in John Randolph Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tillie Leigh and John Henry Norwood, brothers, William, Arthur, Johnny, and Robert and a sister, Ruth. She is survived by four daughters, Lynne Jones, Gloria Nowell, both of Chester, Linda Pevan of Olympia, Washington and Rachel Hawk of Chester; eight grandchildren, Sherry, Ernest Jeffrey, Tracey, Douglas, Bob, Jack, and Amy-Lyn; nineteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. A memorial service, with visitation to follow, will be held Thursday, November 3, 2005 at 2:00 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
