Eugene Robert Ramsey

Eugene Robert Ramsey, 85, of Chester, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2022, into the loving arms of his Savior. Eugene was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Elena Josephine Walker. He is survived, by the love of his life, wife, Florence Blankenship Ramsey; daughters, Teresa Daugherty, Debbie Burgess and Robin Ramsey; son-in-law, Tim Burgess, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Eugene was employed by Park 500, division of Philip Morris and retired from there after many years. In his spare time he loved camping, fishing and traveling. He also enjoyed wood working, particularly making prize winning scaled models of historic ships. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16th at 2:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Chester Chapel, by Pastor Tim Burgess. The family will receive friends prior to the service on March 16th from 1:00 to 2:00 at the chapel.
