Eugene Wall Zevgolis

Eugene Wall Zevgolis, 78, of Amelia, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. Born in Laurinburg, NC, he was the son of the late Stephen P. and Nancy Pate Zevgolis; and was also preceded in death by a brother, George Zevgolis; and a sister, Cora Antoinette "Toni" Zevgolis.
Eugene was an avid bowler, enjoyed playing bingo, and especially loved his dog, Duke. He will be remembered by his family as a loving and devoted, husband, father, son and brother.
He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Michelle L. Zevgolis; a son, Chandler Eugene Zevgolis; a daughter, Casey Mae Zevgolis (Kenneth Barbini); four brothers, Butch, Alan, Rodney and Ricky Zevgolis; one sister, Kiki Zevgolis; an aunt, Nitsa Martin (Boo); and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. In keeping with Eugene's tradition, the family requests casual attire at the visitation. Interment will be private.
