Eugenia Ellis Mason

Eugenia Ellis Mason departed this life on April 16, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Alexander Hamilton Mason. She is survived by her brother, John Ellis, of Palm Coast, Florida; three children: Eugenia Mason Guthrie, married to Giles Guthrie, of Suwanee, GA, Alice Leigh Mason, married to Frank Robinson, of Gordonsville, VA, and Alexander Hamilton Mason, married to Terrie Wood Mason, of Colonial Heights, VA; four grandchildren: Rebecca Brooke Guthrie, Heather Guthrie Heath, Sarah Elizabeth Mason, and Alexander Hamilton Mason, III; and one great-grandchild, Hannah Leigh Heath. She was a graduate of Collegiate School in Richmond, VA and attended Sweet Briar College. She became a successful Realtor in Petersburg VA and was a long-standing, devoted member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Petersburg Home for Ladies for their compassionate care and support. At her request, there will be no public memorial or burial service.
