Eunice Bass Browning

Eunice Bass Browning died quietly on December 24, 2012. She is survived by a daughter, Sharon Browning, and close family friend, Linda Michel, of Richmond, and by a son, Bert Browning and his wife, Rose, of Midlothian; three granddaughters, Emily Browning and her husband, Peter Graham; Amanda Browning and her husband, Sam Srauy, all of Philadelphia, PA; Ashley Browning Huffman and her husband, Jason, of Midlothian; and one great-grandson, Cooper Huffman.
Born on March 9, 1921, Mrs. Browning was a native of Ettrick, Virginia, and was a lifelong member of Ettrick (now Mount Calvary) Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Petersburg High School and of Westhampton College (now University of Richmond.) She was preceded in death by her parents, David P. and Virgie Goode Bass, and by her husband, Herbert O. Browning, Sr.
The funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huguenot Road Baptist Church building fund or to the Gary Sinise Foundation.
