Eunice Jones Finch

Eunice Jones Finch, 87, of N. Dinwiddie, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther B. Jones and Maggie G. Garris; sons, D. Scott Finch and Christopher B. Finch; and nine brothers and sisters. Eunice was a retired deputy clerk for Dinwiddie Combined Court, as well as, a member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved her family. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her. Eunice is survived by her son, Michael A. Finch, of Richmond; grandchildren, Sarah R. Finch, of Colonial Heights, Maggie Finch Wolford (Patrick), of Colonial Heights, Katie B. Finch, of Alexandria, Brittany F. Perkinson (Brandon), of Warfield, and Jacob Finch, of Florida; great-grandchildren, Landon Wolford, Ryan Wolford, Mackenzie Wolford, and Stella Perkinson; daughters-in-law, Sherry V. Finch and Dawn Finch; longtime friend, Gene Witt; devoted neighbor, Terry Turner; and many other devoted family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM, at J.T. Morriss & Son -Petersburg, 103 S. Adams Street, where a funeral will be held in the chapel at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Southlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in Eunice's name at www.lls.org .
